SUBLIME covered this song by The Toyes in 1992, so it's a cover of a cover.
People LOVE it when we perform it.
With SUBLIME getting back together in 2024 with the former front man's son, Jakob, taking over the guitar and vocals, we are super excited to put this out.
SUBLIME is already headlining big shows and even 4th from the headliner at Coachella this year.
We will open for them someday too.
This tune is catchy because it has a little of everything (reggae, rock, etc.)
Also, I improvised and added some Wet Leg lyrics to the breakdown part of the song, which people LOVE!
We tracked this live in the studio to give it more of an "energetic" feel since it's such a "get up n go" kinda song.

I based this tune off an old school roots reggae song by Culture called "She Want Money." I think his lyrics are about his wife spending all their money and his frustration with it.
